Dias de Quarentena

João Ingram, from SIMBIOSE, may be the face, but the DIAS DE QUARENTENA project involves other names from the national scene, such as Filipe Brito, Ricardo Barriga or Hugo Andrade, among others. It also includes the Brazilian scene, with João Gordo and Andreias Kisser being some of the participants. So far, two video clips have been made, with profits going to chosen causes. Now, "Quantas Vidas Mais" has been released, with profits from the song being donated to the Solidariedade Vegan project. The song features guest appearances by Barney Greenway from NAPALM DEATH, José Pedro Ataíde from RASGO and TRINTA E UM, Susana Brochado from SKINNING, and Sandrinha Pinto from Look Mag. The song was mixed and mastered by Nuno Gonçalo.

In the future, there will certainly be more songs, possibly compiled into an album and even potential performances if justified. This song is being donated to the Brazilian Solidariedade Vegan project in São Paulo, Brazil, which "has been doing extraordinary work on the city streets," according to João Ingram. "They accepted it and it's almost ready to be released and donated to the project, which on March 20th will have given out 50,000 meals to those who need them most." Guests have appeared, including the famous Barney from NAPALM DEATH, who "identifies quite a bit with us and wanted to participate in the cause and face the difficult task of singing a chorus in Portuguese," says João. Donations are also possible at the addresses provided on social media, particularly on the project's Facebook page.

Discovering DIAS DE QUARENTENA involves the words of João Ingram: "Suddenly, overnight, we all had free time, time that was precious before. But you find yourself in the middle of a web, which is this society, where something stronger had to happen, above all, than we can imagine, to realize that we can have a different lifestyle and that it is essential for each individual to have the time they need to do what they really love, what they believe in and what really makes them feel good. Maybe this pandemic was the only good thing it brought us, at least it made many people see that our lives have to be lived, not enslaved." Hence, the musician had the idea of doing a project from home. Filipe Brito from VIRA LATA creates the music and Jonhie from SIMBIOSE writes the lyrics. "In conclusion, Dias de Quarentena is a social solidarity project that aims to help other projects through music," explains the vocalist.
